1. Junior Accountant

Overall Purpose: To work as part of a dynamic team, providing bookkeeping, payroll, and other financial information services in a timely and accurate manner for the subsidiaries of the Group.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper and accurate accounting records to our accounting software
- Record supplier invoices & maintain payables ledger, including preparation of payments for approval
- Record clients’ receipts and disbursements
- Assist in the monthly closing of management accounts (prepayments, accruals, reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts, intercompany balances, accounts payables and accounts receivables) and perform other duties as required by the Financial Controller to support the Consolidation.
- Preparation of monthly payroll
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Preparation and submission of relevant forms and payments to the Income Tax and Social Insurance offices, including Defence Tax and PAYE
- Assisting in the VAT and VIES preparation
- Assisting in liaising with Auditors for the yearly audits • Approaches day-to-day tasks with an open mind, is willing to receive constructive feedback on tasks and displays this in later work
- Establishes good working relationships with colleagues, being an active and helpful member of the team
The right candidates must be / have:
- An LCCI Higher in Accounting and / or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
- IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point). Knowledge of Power BI will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Accounting Software Sage 50 Accounts will be considered an advantage
- Strong command of the Greek and English languages (written and verbal) is essential
- Able to multi-task, communicate progress and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive can attitude, high degree of responsibility and take ownership of their assignments

4. IFRS Specialist

Within this team we actively support our audit teams and our clients in the area of auditing their IFRS financial statements. We also provide IFRS accounting assistance to clients on complex accounting mattes and also organize and manage both internal and external IFRS events and trainings.
The key responsibilities of the IFRS Specialist will include:
- helping prepare answers for consultation (internal and external), provide advice and prepare positions on technical questions regarding IFRS related matters.
- helping review and provide comments on IFRS financial statements that are subject to a specific review requirement.
- designing trainings and workshops for both internal employees and external clients on any IFRS related topic, identify needs for any such trainings.
- investing time and stay up to date with recent developments and amendments to IFRS standards by attending global network calls and IFRS trainings /updates.
For whom we’re looking for:
- Someone who holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/Economics or relevant field
- Someone who is part qualified (ACCA/ACA) or holds a master in relevant field will be considered as an asset
- A minimum 5 year of relevant working experience within the domain of IFRS
- A minimum 3 year of relevant working experience
- Someone who has experience with auditing IFRS financial statements and tackling complex IFRS issues in audit
- Someone who has a growth mindset and you demonstrate agility, good team spirit and good communication skills
- Someone who is able to communicate in English and an experienced user of MS Office
