Experienced Accountant/ Bookkeeper

We are looking for an Experienced Accountant/ Bookkeeper to join our team. Must be available immediately. We are a group of companies in the software development industry.

Job description

• Preparation of accounting records in SAP Business One
• Preparation of VAT and VIES returns/calculations
• Preparation of monthly payroll calculations
• Preparation of monthly payroll forms for submission with the Social Insurance Office and Tax Authorities
• Perform monthly reconciliations of Bank Accounts, Debtor/Creditor accounts, Fixed Assets.
• Assist in the external audit
• Assist on ad hoc tasks
• Reporting directly to Senior Accountant/ Financial Controller

Main Qualification, Skills And Experience

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Finance required or Part Qualified Accountant
• At least three years of previous experience is a similar position
• Payroll experience is a must
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles
• Able to work with limited supervision
• Fluency in English, verbal and writing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
