Korelis & Co. LLC: Ζητείται Accountant – Λευκωσία

Korelis & Co. LLC is looking to recruit an accountant on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities for the position:

• Updating the books of the companies in accordance to international accounting standards;
• Bookkeeping and recording of transactions in the accounting system;
• Bank accounts reconciliations;
• VAT and VIES preparation and submission of returns;
• Issuing of invoices;
• Preparation of debtors/creditors reconciliations;
• Client communication and general correspondence.
• Liaising with the company’s external auditors

Job Requirements:

• University Degree in accounting/economics/finance or other related field;
• Any relevant qualification (CAT/ACA/ACCA) is an advantage
• At least 3 years of demonstrated work experience in an Accounting/Bookkeeping role;
• Excellent written /verbal communication skills in Greek and English language / Fluency in English language is required;
• Knowledge of Esoft software package is considered as an additional advantage;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation);
• Good knowledge of applying VAT to local/international clients;
• Good knowledge of the Cyprus Tax Legislation;
• Good knowledge of the payroll system of Cyprus.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
