We are searching for a qualified physiotherapist or osteopath, who is compassionate and dedicated to their career. This position involves assisting patients who have physical limitations brought on by disease, injury, disability, or aging, to enhance their health and quality of life. Knowledge is required in designing and evaluating treatment plans utilizing electrotherapy, therapeutic exercise and mainly manual therapy.

Encouraging the health and welfare of patients, by providing advice and education will also be important, for the prevention and self-managing of acute and chronic conditions. As a centre, we also offer long term, clinical and holistic interventions such as Pilates, Yoga, Meditation, and energy healing. Therefore, any additional qualifications and experience in such topics, will be appreciated.

We welcome patients of all ages and backgrounds, including young children and the elderly. We also treat professional athletes and artists who have sustained vocational injuries or wish to develop their technique. Therefore, knowledge and understanding of selected sports and performing arts is also useful.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Working with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory, sometimes over a period of weeks or months.
• Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of above conditions.
• Develop and review treatment programmes which encourage exercise and movement, using a range of techniques.
• Involve parents and carers in the treatment, review, and rehabilitation of patients.
• Educate patients and their carers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions.
• Write patient case notes, documentation of follow up SOAP notes, medical reports, and data collection.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, consultants, occupational therapists and social workers, to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention
• Keep up to date with new techniques and technologies.
• Be available for interprofessional learning, in-service training, as well as induction and learning of new methods and procedures.
• Supervise student and junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy support workers.
• Observe and assist other qualified professionals at our centre.
• Be legally responsible and accountable.
• Be caring, compassionate and professional at all times.
• Assess and manage environmental and clinical risks.
• BSc Physiotherapy or BSc Osteopathy required.

Salary

• To be discussed and determined according to qualifications and skill level, hours of availability, as well as additional training requirements.

Working hours

Physiotherapists typically work 37.5 hours a week, which may include evenings and weekends .Part-time work opportunities are also available.
