TFI Markets Ltd: Ζητείται Accountant – Λευκωσία

Our Company, a licensed Financial Services Company and a Payment Institution is seeking to recruit a high-caliber individual for the Accounting Department.The Accounting Officer will be reporting directly to the CFO of the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Processes payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements and statements
• Posts, updates, and/or retrieves accounting data from automated systems
• Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an accounting system
• Performs end-of-day procedure
• Keeps VAT records and prepares quarterly VAT report
• Prepares bank reconciliations in a timely manner
• Preparation of required monthly, quarterly semi-annual and annual reporting to the regulators
• File and archive documents connected to the accounting function
• Liaise with external auditors and other external advisors
• Prepare and update expense schedule and review against the budget of the Company
• Performs related work as assigned

Requirements:

• Holder of a degree in accounting or any other related subject with a strong accounting background
• 2-3 years of experience in similar positions
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organization skills, time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience in working with Payment Institutions, EMIs or Investment firms is a plus
• Experience with Sage will be considered an advantage
• Be fluent in Greek and English
