Job Description:

As a Buyers Assistant at Anmatto Wholesalers Ltd., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement process. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around effective communication with suppliers worldwide, placing orders, monitoring shipments, and managing stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

– Communicate with suppliers globally to place orders for various products.

– Track and follow up on the shipping process, ensuring timely delivery to our warehouse.

– Monitor stock levels and initiate timely orders to replenish inventory.

– Collaborate with the procurement team to assess product quality, pricing, and availability.

– Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.

– Maintain accurate records of purchases, shipments, and inventory levels.

– Assist in analysing market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement strategies.

– Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or product quality promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

– Previous experience in a similar buying or procurement role.

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.

– Excellent proficiency in both Greek and English languages, both written and spoken.

– Strong communication and negotiation skills.

– Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.

– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

– Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software/tools.

– Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
