LXM Media & Publishing Ltd: Ζητείται Junior Accountant – Λάρνακα

To be based ideally in Larnaca, Cyprus.

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Cyprus. You will play a crucial role in assisting the Accounting Manager managing the company’s financial operations.

Ideal candidate

• Degree in Accounting
• ​1-2 years of proven experience from a dynamic multinational environment
• Excellent knowledge of local accounting regulations and tax regulations
• ​Proficiency in accounting software (preferably E-Soft) and good knowledge of MS Excel
• High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• ​Fluency in English and Greek is required

What you will be doing

• Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Handle invoicing, collections and reconciliations
• ​Generate and issue invoices to customers, verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and other relevant documents
• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers on outstanding payments
• ​Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
• ​Prepare and present reports on the status of receivables and aging analysis
• Work closely with the sales team to coordinate credit-related activities
• ​Ad-hoc Projects and General Finance Duties: Engage in various financial projects and general finance responsibilities
