International Admissions Officer

The University of Limassol (UoL) is a progression of the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), which was a renowned business school operating in Cyprus since 1990. We are now recruiting a high calibre individual to join its dynamic workforce in the position of International Admissions Officer.

Main purpose of the job

To support the operational management of international admissions for the University.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Dealing and follow-up with day-to-day international admissions inquiries and applications as well as the collection of documentation.
  • Following up with international leads produced on platforms where UoL has subscriptions.
  • To prepare acceptance letters for international prospective students – if necessary, to provide additional documentation to assist with visa applications.
  • Monitor and ensure the new international students records in CRM are fully completed and correct, on time, ready for processing for student ID, that their offer letters are updated and finalised and unconditional and communicated on time with Finance and that their admissions folders are completed.
  • Responsible for the handling and processing of the international student payments and updating of these data in the CRM and other lists exchanged with the Finance team to ensure correct commission payment to agents.
  • Providing visa-related advice and support to non-EU prospective students.
  • Inform students about immigration requirements.
  • Visit the immigration department (Nicosia or Limassol) once every 1 or 2 weeks to obtain necessary updates for students and entry permit visas.
  • Prepare all required documents for submission to immigration.
  • Maintain a strong rapport with immigration officers.
  • Ensure an excellent level of quality.
  • Liaising with academic staff for international admission matters.
  • Contributing to the effective implementation of any admissions policies and processes.
  • General administrative duties as required.
  • Providing support to the Associate Director for International Admissions and the International Department.
  • Any other task as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Sales, Business Management or any related field.
  • Previous experience in International Admissions & Student Recruitment will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, administrative, communication, organisational, and computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Fluent in Greek and English.
