IAAC Airports, an Airport Advertising Provider, currently has an exciting, full-time career opportunity for an Accountant at our headquarters in Nicosia.

Main role:

• Maintain accounting books and records on a daily basis
• Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers
• Conducting regular bank reconciliations of multicurrency bank accounts
• Ensuring that invoices to customers are issued complete and in a timely manner
• Prepare payments of expenses and other creditors for approval
• Assist in the preparation of Management reports including reconciliations, TB, PL & BS
• Preparation of VAT and VIES forms.
• Prepare customers’ and suppliers’ reconciliations and liaise with them to resolve any discrepancies
• Cooperation with external auditors for the preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of regular and ad-hoc accounting and financial reports
• Reports to the CFO

Qualifications & Skills required:

• University degree in Accounting or related field
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel Office
• Fluency in English language , oral and written
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software will be considered as an advantage
• Strong teamwork and good communication skills
• Self-motivated, energetic with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a multi-tasking environment
