As part of our drive to enrich and expand our Corporate Accounting Services department, CX Financia Ltd is looking to recruit a motivated and dedicated Experienced Accountant to join our team. We have a strong track record with high-profile local and international clients.

Role Description

The Accountant will handle various day-to-day tasks, including:

• Maintaining accounting and bookkeeping records.
• Conducting regular bank reconciliations.
• Preparing and managing VAT returns.
• Handling payroll preparation and submission of Social Insurance Declarations.
• Serving as the accountant for a portfolio of mainly local clients.
• Responding to client requests promptly and effectively.
• Performing reconciliations of control accounts, including all bank, debtor, and creditor accounts.
• Preparing and submitting VAT and VIES forms.
• Preparing financial statements.
• Generating necessary reports and analysis within agreed deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or LCCI Higher Certificate.
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus taxation laws, including VAT, Payroll
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent command of English and Greek; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Desire to learn and develop.
• Good knowledge of Logisoft Accounting is an advantage.
