Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Monitor and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
- Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Document and maintain IT systems and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Solid understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
