Accountant / Cost Controller

Aker Solutions Cyprus Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of OneSubsea www.onesubsea.com , in the business of oil & gas service provision, subsea solutions, engineering and marine operations. Its core competencies lie in project execution, technology and integrated industrial solutions, and key focus is on providing superior customer service to the global oil & gas operations. The office in Limassol operates on a global basis and is one of the key suppliers of rental tools to the group regional offices

The Company has been operating in Cyprus for 15 years with its principal office in Limassol and we are inviting qualified candidates to apply for the Accountant / Cost Controller vacancy.

Responsibilities and tasks:

· Monthly reporting in SAP, Sarepta and Blackline

· Assist in forecasting reporting

· Participate in statutory accounts and audit

· Bank accounts follow up

· Book incoming invoices

· Assist in Local corporate tax reporting, tax settlements, booking of witholding taxes and local VAT

· Assist Business Controller with monthly billing including interface with regional base teams

· Booking and monitoring of the company’s fixed assets

Qualifications and personal attributes:

· University degree within business / accounting / finance – ACCA/ACA would be considered an advantage

· Previous experience of at least 3 years of working in a multinational company

· Knowledge of SAP, Sarepta or any other large ERP systems would be considered as an advantage

· Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral

· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

· Good analytical skills

· Systematic and structured

· Independent and proactive

· Ability to work under pressure

· Present and communicate information comfortably
