Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recording financial transactions in the software system.
• Preparation and review of the cash receipts and petty cash.
• Verification of accounting entries.
• Timely and accurate preparation and submission of VAT, Defence, and Income Tax reports.
• Communicating with external auditors and providing the necessary financial data.
• Preparing payments for all company creditors.
• Intrastat reporting and recap tables for sales statistics.
• Managing the expenses of company vehicles.
• Checking company cash balances.
• Responsible for all company insurances.
• Following all employment policies, company procedures, and local laws.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional qualification: CAT, LCCI Higher or University degree in accounting or other relevant.
• Working experience of at least 3 years in a similar position.
• Computer literate – Hands on experience with computerized accounting systems, use of Windows and MS Office.
• Knowledge of the Accounting Software “SAP Business One” will be considered as an additional advantage.

• Ability to operate fast and efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication with the management and the external auditors.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision.
