The University of Limassol is excited to announce three full-time Administrative Support vacancies in our prestigious schools, CIIM Business School, Technology and Innovation School and Social Sciences and Humanities School.

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our administrative team. These positions are crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of each school and providing excellent support to students, faculty, and staff. The officer is expected to manage various administrative processes, support academic activities, and assist with the smooth operation of the school’s daily activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. General Administrative Support
  • Scheduling: Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events for academic staff, including booking rooms and resources as needed.
  • Document Management: Prepare, format, and distribute documents such as memos, reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing communications (emails, phone calls, letters), ensuring timely responses and follow-up actions.
  • Handle student requests.
  1. Event Coordination
  • School Events: Assist in organizing school events such as seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Logistics: Coordinate logistics for events, including venue booking, catering, equipment setup, and travel arrangements for guests or speakers.
  1.  Records and Compliance
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with university policies and data protection regulations ( exams templates, grades, sensitive information such as medical record).
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure adherence to school and university policies, procedures, and protocols in all administrative processes.
  • Archiving: Manage the archiving and retrieval of documents and files as needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in an academic environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative colleagues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Greek Language
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to handle routine administrative issues and escalate problems when necessary
