Pop Life Supermarkets Ltd is seeking to recruit an experienced payroll officer to be based at Latsia central office.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll on a monthly basis for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Calculate salaries, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related payments.
- Prepare and file all statutory reports, including social insurance, taxes, and other government requirements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data within the time attendance and payroll systems.
- Stay informed of changes in Cyprus payroll regulations and tax laws, ensuring compliance.
- Address payroll inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the HR and Accounting teams to reconcile discrepancies and resolve any payroll-related concerns.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports related to payroll.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer for at least 3 years.
- Solid understanding of payroll systems and Cyprus tax and social insurance regulations.
- Strong understanding of HR and finance-related practices.
- Experience with payroll software and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or a related field is a plus.
