Compliance Reporting Officer
We are seeking to hire a suitably qualified and experienced individual to be outsourced as Compliance Reporting Officer for a number of offshore iGaming clients, to join our team in Nicosia.
The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for ensuring our clients are compliant with gaming regulations and industry standards to maintain the integrity and legality of clients’ operations. He/She must have the drive to deliver quality service, understand regulatory requirements, maintain excellent analytical skills and possess sound communication and inter-personal skills.
The Role
Key duties shall include:
- Designing and implementing the AML program
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations regarding money laundering and terrorist financing
- Reviewing adherence to the casino’s policies and procedures
- Organizing staff training sessions on compliance-related issues
- Reviewing internally reported unusual transactions for completeness and accuracy
- Maintaining records of both internally and externally reported unusual transactions
- Designing an internal procedure about when reporting unusual transactions will lead to blocking/ freezing of user accounts
- Preparing external reports on unusual transactions
- Making necessary changes to the AML program
- Preparing periodic reports on the casino’s efforts against money laundering, terrorism financing, and proliferation financing on behalf of the MLRO and the company.
The Requirements
The successful candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, be self-motivated, persistent and with proactive approach. The required qualifications are:
- 2 years of experience in a reporting role for anti-money laundering
- A University degree
- An internationally recognised AML certification like Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) will be considered an advantage
- Strong knowledge of gaming laws and AML regulations
- Experience in working with PSPs, banking institutions and onboarding processes
- Solid organisational, problem solving and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal language skills in English and Greek
