Job description

The award winning Crystal Springs Beach Hotel, a four-star hotel in Protaras, is seeking a reporting Management Accountant to join the team, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will be based at the hotel offices in Protaras and Larnaca.

Responsibilities:

Working in close cooperation with the Accounting department, the role will entail:

• Preparation of the monthly Financial reports which include Profit & Loss account, Balance Sheet, Cash flow statements and the respective analysis, comparison to previous periods and budget.
• Preparation of the Management accounts package on a regular monthly basis, including comparisons to previous periods and the budget and variance analysis. The Management accounts package includes profitability and cash flow detailed reports analysis by department, as well as, other analysis.
• Preparation of the Budget and forecasts updates
• Bookings and revenue forecast preparation
• Monthly payroll processing and coordination with the Accounts department for all month-end reconciliations preparation and review
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by the Executive Management.

Qualifications and experience:

• University degree in Accounting, Economics or other related field
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel and experience with computerised accounting systems
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Very good knowledge of the Greek and English language
• Excellent time management (ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
