MSEA Management Ltd: Ζητείται Accounts Assistant – Λεμεσός
A growing ship-owning and investment company is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for its established office in Limassol. (experience in the shipping industry will be considered an advantange.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recording transactions in the accounting system.
- Ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare Journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Daily monitoring of companies’ cash flows.
- Preparation of payments electronically.
- Monthly and Quarterly closing within time deadlines.
- Assist with the annual audits.
- Liaising with the banks third parties as and when required.
- Filing on Data Management systems.
- Provide administrative support and ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Additional qualifications:
- Relevant education in the field of Finance / Economics / Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience ideally within a shipping industry.
- Strong command of written and spoken English is essential.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Has a “can-do” attitude.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Competent user of MS Excel, MS Word.
- Knowledge of SAGE Accounting software will be an advantage.
