GEP REIT, An American business development company with offices in Larnaca, Cyprus is currently looking to fulfil the position of:

Business Operations Manager

Job description: The business operations manager will work in a fast-paced office in Larnaca, Cyprus managing operations in real estate investments located in different cities across several countries. The manager will participate in day-to-day virtual meetings with local operations teams, help establish project schedules, tackle ad hoc problems, and oversee the overall business operations.

Education and Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Real Estate Management, Information Systems and Statistics.
• Postgraduate degree in MBA, Business Administration, Operations Management, Real Estate Management, Data Analysis, and any other relevant discipline will be considered as an advantage.
• 2-3 years’ experience within a managerial role.
• Fluent in English.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, or coordinate operations management project and activities relating to residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Direct and supervise maintenance work.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
• Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.
• Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other environmental regulations.
• Perform, or contract others to perform, pre-building assessments, such as conceptual cost estimating, rough order of magnitude estimating, feasibility, or energy efficiency, environmental, and sustainability assessments.
• Apply for and obtain all necessary permits or licenses.
• Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans.
• Apply green building strategies to reduce energy costs or minimize carbon output or other sources of harm to the environment.
• Address tenant questions and negotiate tenant matters.
