Join Cablenet as a Financial Analyst (FA) and take our financial strategies to new heights. As an FA, you’ll be the driving force behind our financial reports and analyses, providing crucial insights to our leadership and stakeholders. From financial planning to managing relationships with investors, your role is pivotal. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, if you meet the criteria for Financial Analyst, we eagerly anticipate you joining us.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of or participate, side-by-side in preparing the monthly and half-year financial reports, both statutory and management.
• Provide critical financial and operational information to the Head of Finance, CEO, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors.
• Identify, track, and report patterns, trends, and/or other analytically critical information to enhance or support the growth and profitability of the organization.
• Assist in Cablenet’s external audits.
• Initiate and lead improvements in Cablenet’s financial and management information system reports.
• Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting models and the information entailed in them.
• Master an inside knowledge of Cablenet’s financial and commercial workings and specifics.
• Be a critical component in cash management and liquidity strategies.
• Maintain and/or build analytically robust, concise, efficient, and insightful financial models.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare well-structured, high-format quality, and concise yet comprehensive presentations.
• The ideal candidate should have a highly analytical drive and mindset, with a keen eye for detail and strong financial acumen. Have a strong ownership approach to any work undertaken from the smallest task to the biggest project.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Finance/Economics/Accounting; MBA and/or other relevant post-graduate degree highly desirable.
• ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification would be considered a plus but not a pre-requisite.
• 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible financial roles.
• Experience in the Telecom industry would be welcome but not a pre-requisite.
• Broad IT skills along with past experience / successful involvement with IT in managing critical financial management systems.
• Experience with SAP ERP or similar large-scale systems is highly regarded.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience in strategic planning, contracting, commercial focus and/or strategic finance will each, and all be considered a plus.
• Highly advanced analytical and reasoning skills.
• Must possess attention to detail, an eye for identifying patterns and discrepancies, and strong modeling skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Be a team player.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
